VegaStars casino review: the verdict
VegaStars scores 3.9 out of 10. It is a split decision: the responsible gambling tools and the $50,000 monthly withdrawal cap are better than most casinos Australians search for, but the terms give you only three days to dispute a settled bet, name no company, and claim a licence without a number. ACMA blocks nine of its domains.

Is VegaStars legal in Australia?
No, and this is a question Australians type into Google often enough to show up as a suggestion. Online casino games are prohibited for people in Australia under the Interactive Gambling Act 2001, and our 8 October 2026 snapshot of ACMA's blocked gambling websites list included vegastars.com plus vegastars1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 10 and 11.com. Typing vegastars.com now forwards you to yet another numbered address.
The pattern of numbered domains matters. When one address is blocked, traffic moves to another, which is why links shared in forums or sent by email stop working and why you may land on a copy of the site you cannot verify. Clause 3.5 of the terms does not list Australia as a restricted country, so as far as VegaStars is concerned you are welcome. Clause 4.1 does exclude Australia from NetEnt games.
The licence you cannot check
Clause 1.2 says the site "is licensed by the Tobique Gaming Commission". That is all. There is no licence number to look up, no company name, no registration number and no address in the terms we read, and the homepage footer is links only. Compare Razed, whose similar-looking terms at least name the company and its licence number.
Three days to dispute a bet
Clause 16.4 says disputes must be submitted "within three (3) days from the date the relevant bet is settled". If a feature round settles on a Friday night, your written complaint, emailed from your registered address with your username and a detailed description, needs to be in by Monday night. After internal complaints, VegaStars names EGIS - FZCO as its alternative dispute resolution body, offered "free of charge". That is one more outside option than many offshore casinos give you, but the three-day clock is short.

The two-week contact rule is the one to watch. Keep your phone number current and answer unknown numbers after you request a payout, or the account can be locked. Accounts with no activity for 12 months can be charged EUR 10 a month while a balance remains (clause 14.1).
Bonuses: $6,000 headline, five-day clock
The homepage advertised "Up to $6,000 in bonuses" as a welcome package, without the breakdown. The bonus terms set the general rules:
- Bonus balances expire five days after activation unless stated otherwise.
- Bonus spin winnings become bonus balance with wagering of "usually 40x".
- Pokies count 100% towards wagering, live casino games 10%.
- Bonus balance cannot be used on the sportsbook or esports.
- One welcome package per person.
The live casino weighting changes everything if you prefer tables. $40 of spin winnings at 40x is $1,600 of bets on pokies. Responsible gambling: the strongest part
VegaStars' responsible gambling page offers more than most casinos in this batch:
- Deposit limit by day, week or month. Lowering applies as soon as practicable; increases or removal wait 24 hours.
- Loss limit by day, week or month, on net losses, with unsettled bets counted.
- Wager limit by day, week or month, on total stakes.
- Time-out for 1 day, 1 week, 1 month or 3 months, starting immediately. You can still withdraw during it.
- Self-exclusion for 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, 5 years or permanently, by email. After six months or more, a 3-day cooling-off applies before reactivation.
