Aussie Play casino review: payouts tied to your 'credit scores' and $2,500 at a time

Aussie Play's terms set your maximum payout by a 'Customer Level' that weighs credit scores and your reputation at other casinos. Three of its old domains are on ACMA's blocked list.

  • The footer claims an Anjouan gaming licence but gives no licence number or company name.
  • Every payout is capped at $2,500, only one can be pending at a time, and card payouts take 3 to 5 business days.
  • The terms list 'Credit scores' and reputation 'with other casinos' among factors that set your payout limits.

Aussie Play casino review: verdict

Aussie Play scores 2.7 out of 10, our lowest in this batch. The clause that sets it apart is in its terms under "Customer Level": the factors the casino says it uses to set your level, and with it "the maximum payout amount and payment approval times", include "Credit scores", "Customer's reputation with Aussie Play, as well as with other casinos" and "The frequency of reversing payouts". A casino that ties how much you can withdraw to your credit history is telling you who holds the power.

We read the terms, banking page, FAQ, responsible gaming and KYC pages on the brand's current site on 8 October 2026. This is a desk review; we did not sign up.

No. The Interactive Gambling Act 2001 makes it illegal to offer online casino games to people in Australia. ACMA's blocked gambling websites list (our snapshot of 8 October 2026) includes three Aussie Play domains: aussieplayonline.com, aussieplay-online.com and aussieplaygames.com.

The brand has since moved. aussieplayonline.com no longer resolves, and the Aussie Play footer, licence line and copyright now appear on a different domain that was not on the snapshot. One of the blocked addresses, aussieplaygames.com, now hosts an affiliate review page rather than the casino, and another look-alike, aussieplay1.com, describes itself as "not an official website". That is a lot of copies for one brand, and a good reason not to follow links from forums or emails.

ACMA has also named the brand directly. Its August 2022 formal warning to Proxous Advanced Solutions Limited, which sub-licensed RTG software to 13 casinos operating illegally in Australia, lists Aussie Play alongside Fair Go, Uptown Pokies and Ozwin. Aussie Play's own restricted list covers only Georgia, Israel, the Netherlands, Russia, Ukraine and Michigan.

Who runs Aussie Play?

The footer says: "Aussieplay is operating under Gaming License that was given by The Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union Of Comoros. Government Notice No. 007 of 2005 The Betting and Gaming Act 2005." That cites the law, not a licence. There is no licence number, and the terms refer only to "the Company" without naming it. The copyright line reads "Aussie Play Casino, 2026".

Payouts: $2,500 at a time, one at a time

Payout methodTime after approvalMinimumMaximumFee
Visa3 to 5 business days$150$2,500None
Mastercard3 to 5 business days$150$2,500None
Bank wire5 business days$150$2,500None
Bitcoin1 to 3 business days$150$2,500None

Before the first payout, documents must be approved, which the terms say takes 2 to 3 business days: photo ID, both sides of the card you deposited with (first six and last four digits showing), proof of address from the last three months and your wallet or bank details. Each deposit must be wagered once, and the terms add that "The Customer can only have one pending payout at a time."

Here is what that does to a $10,000 win. At $2,500 a payout it takes four payouts, and because only one can be pending, each has to clear before the next is requested. By card that is up to 20 business days of processing time (4 x 5), about four working weeks; by Bitcoin up to 12 business days. The terms also allow large wins to be "divided into smaller units" according to your Customer Level, so a higher limit is not guaranteed. Bonus terms, with the catches

On 8 October 2026 the homepage showed "Up to $7500 Welcome Bonus" and "Up to $1700 Pokies Bonus". The general bonus terms say:

  • Deposit bonuses need 35x the deposit plus bonus on slots, 40x on card games.
  • Welcome package bonuses (the first five deposits) have a payout limit of 30 times the deposit.
  • The maximum bet during wagering is $10.
  • No deposit bonuses need 50x wagering and pay out at most three times the bonus.
  • Bonus chips are capped at five times the bonus.
  • Free bonuses cannot be used while a payout is pending.

The no deposit rule has a twist. The minimum payout is $150, and if a bonus's payout limit is lower than that, "the difference has to be wagered 1x deposit amount". On our reading, a $20 no deposit bonus can pay out at most $60, so you would need to deposit and wager at least the missing $90 before you could withdraw anything. We could not confirm any current no deposit offer. See our no deposit bonus guide for how these caps compare elsewhere.

The FAQ lists games excluded from bonus play: roulette, Ride 'em Poker, baccarat, craps, progressive jackpots, Dragon Gaming table games, and all games from Betsoft, Nucleus and Saucify.

Responsible gambling

Self-exclusion is requested by email from your registered address, for a set period that "will not be undone", and the terms allow daily, weekly or monthly deposit limits on request. The responsible gaming page otherwise offers advice rather than tools. Free help in Australia: Gambling Help Online, 1800 858 858.

Games and support

The homepage claims "over 1100 stellar games", with demo play for many titles. Accounts can be held in AUD, EUR or USD. Deposits run from $20 by crypto (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Binance) and Flexepin vouchers ($20 to $500) and $30 to $1,000 by Visa or Mastercard; Tether starts at 60 AUD. Support is offered by live chat, email and a helpline.

How we scored it

  • Payments 3.0: no fees, but $2,500 per payout, one at a time, a $150 minimum and up to five business days per card payout.
  • Terms 2.5: credit scores and conduct at other casinos feeding into payout limits; 3x no deposit caps; a 30x deposit payout limit on welcome bonuses.
  • Safety 1.0: three blocked domains, a 2022 ACMA warning naming the brand, no licence number or company.
  • Responsible gambling 2.5: self-exclusion and limits only by request.
  • Games 4.0: a large library claimed; return figures not shown.
  • Support 4.5: chat, email and phone listed, untested.

No. Online casino games cannot legally be offered to people in Australia under the Interactive Gambling Act 2001, and ACMA lists aussieplayonline.com and two other Aussie Play domains as blocked illegal gambling sites.
